Cannot override Country

Hi, I`m just getting started in the Classic version and trying to enter customer info into Bill To and Consignee databases. The customer is in Portugal but it always changes to Azores. I will keep working with entering info but not sure if this will keep happening.

Solution: Certain countries share the same country codes such as Portugal and Azores. When you pick a country that shares a country code with another country, the Access database that stores this information always defaults to the country closest to the front of the alphabet. Since Azores starts with "A" and Portugal starts with "P", the database defaults to Azores.

However, it doesn't really matter since Shipping Solutions follows the U.S. Customs and Census Bureau requirements and displays the appropriate codes for all countries. So, even though it may say Azores in the Consignee database, when you select that Consignee on the EZ Start screen, all that gets displayed on screen and printed on the forms is "PT", which is the country code for both Portugal and Azores.
