Description:
My company uses Goldmine as an email client. I seem to get errors when trying to send emails. Is there a way to set my email client to goldmine?

Solution: When trying to email documents from Shipping Solutions Professional, the program will use the email program that is set up as the default program in your Windows desktop. If Goldmine is your default email program, Shipping Solutions Professional will automatically try to use that program to email the documents.

Some email programs are configured in such a way to prevent other applications from accessing the program and creating an email. If Goldmine is configured this way, you will not be able to send an email directly from Shipping Solutions Professional.

Instead, when you click on the email icon and go to the email screen, choose the option to save a document for later emailing. This will allow you to create a Snapshot version of a document and save it to a folder on your hard drive. You can then go to Goldmine, create a new email message, and then simply attach one or more export documents to your email message.
