User Rights Error

Detailed
Description:
When closing off system, I get the following message. `You do not have access to make the required system configuration modifications. Please rerun this installation from an administrators account.` I am an administrator on the system. Also, our head administrator tried loading under his login and it still did not do away with.
Problem Type: Databases
Version Number: Pro 7.X & Classic 6.X
Status: Closed
Solution: There are two things you can try to resolve the issue of user right's when running Shipping Solutions on a Windows 2000 PC:

1. What you should do is create a user account for that person and assign them administrator rights by placing their account into the local administrators group. If you do not want them to have full admin privileges, then place them into the Power Users group. This will allow the users to modify and run the software under their local profile, in either group. Remember that these groups exist on the local machine. Go to Administrative Tools in the Control Panel. Select Computer Management and then expand Local

Users and Groups. You will see the default groups and the two default user accounts: Administrator and Guest. To create a new user, simply right-click on the User folder, go to new, and choose User. Follow the wizard.

2. If item #1 doesn't work, uninstall the software from the PC and then reinstall it in a folder other than the Program Files folder. According to what we've been able to find out from Microsoft, if a program is required to write information to a file within the Program Files folder and the user doesn't have either Power User or Administrative rights, Windows 2000 prevents the program from operating correctly.
